Your Controller has the Following 10 Rapid Fire Modes:

Mode 1 (Two modes in One): Dual trigger rapid fire for Halo 3/ ODST, Reach.

This mode has the option of Independent dual trigger rapid fire with LT & RT, or dual trigger rapid fire of both sides by only holding down RT.

Mode 2: RT rapid fire for Halo 3 / ODST, Reach and General Compatibility with most other games.

Mode 3: (Two modes in One): Dual trigger rapid fire for COD 6 MW2 and COD 7 Black Ops.

This mode has the option of Independent dual trigger rapid fire with LT & RT, or dual trigger rapid fire of both sides by only holding down RT.

Mode 4: RT rapid fire for COD 7 Black Ops, COD 6 MW2 and more COD series game, and General Compatibility with most other games.

Mode 5: RT rapid fire for COD 5: World at War.

Mode 6: RT Rapid fire for Gear of War 2, This mode also works as a medium rapid fire speed for the COD series, and as a General Compatibility with most other games.

Mode 7: 3 shot burst for COD Black Ops, COD 6 MW2 COD 5 World at War and COD 4 MW.

Mode 8: 5 shot burst for COD Black Ops, COD 6 MW2 COD 5 World at War and COD 4 MW.

How to Turn Rapid Fire On/Off:

When you turn the controller on, rapid fire feature is off, as well as the 4th player LED, which is the rapid fire indicator. To turn rapid fire on, press the SYNC button (Just press, not hold). The 4th player LED will turn on, meaning rapid fire is on as well. To turn rapid fire on and off during gaming,  press the SYNC button once. The controller will remember which mode you were last in prior to shutting down the controller, or turning rapid fire off, so there is no need to cycle through all the modes to get back to what you were using before.

Remember to turn rapid fire off before turning off your controller. This will prevent battery drain, If the controller is off and the 4th player light is on, you will need to remove the battery pack for a second and snap it back in.

How to Change Rapid Fire Modes:

To switch through the 8 rapid fire modes, first turn rapid on, then press the SYNC button. Do not hold the SYNC button down, a firm press and immediate release will suffice. The 4th player LED will blink to indicate which rapid fire mode is set. One blink for mode 1, two blinks for mode 2, and so on. Make sure to allow a second or two after the LED stops blinking before pressing any buttons.

Two in One Modes:

The two dual trigger modes, 1 and 3, each contain a special function, making them 2 modes in 1. You have the option to set rapid fire to be controller independently using LT to shoot the left side and RT to shoot the right side, or you can set the controller to fire both side by just holding down RT. With the latter setting, LT will function like normal, which allows you to aim down the sights with your primary weapon in COD 6, or be able to boost in a vehicle like the Ghost in Halo 3.

First turn rapid fire on, and change to either mode 1 or mode 3, then turn rapid fire off by holding LT and pressing the SYNC button. The way you turn rapid fire back on will decide how rapid fire is Controlled:

1. For independent rapid fire on LT and RT, hold LT and press SYNC, and release both buttons at the same time.

2. For RT to fire both sides, hold LT and press SYNC, but release SYNC before letting go of LT. LT functions as normal in this setting.

By default, the controller will be in the #1 setting every time you change into mode 1 or 3.
